Chuy's History
Jesus Adame also known as "Chuy" started the original Chuy's Mexican Restaurant of Ft. Worth in 1982. His first restaurant was on Central Ave, in North Side, just a few blocks from the Stockyards.
After a few years at the Central location, he decided to relocate to 25th St, and then to North Main St. His current location is in River Oaks, a small suburb just outside of Ft. Worth. Three generations have carried on the Chuy's family legacy and opened up Chuy's establishments in the surrounding area.
Chuy's has always been known for the best tasting Fajitas, Menudo, Caldo de Rez and Mexican breakfast, ranging from traditional Chorizo and Egg breakfast platters to Chuy's Carne Guizada Platter. All served with
handmade flour tortillas. With good ol' traditional Mexican music playing in the background, this local hotspot takes you back in time when life was just simple; good food, good people, and a great place to just kick back and relax.
It's a fun place to watch your Dallas Cowboys, Mavs and Texas Rangers. If you find yourself wondering what to eat tonight or you're just out and about in north Ft. Worth, please join us. Could your event use a caterer? Contact us for all of your catering needs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
